Frezyderm Acne Treatment Review*.

Frezyderm Acne Treatment Review*.

The one where I share my thoughts on some acne treatments.

For a while now, I have been suffering with problem skin, something I have never had before. My skin has always been kind to me, the odd little spot before my period and that was it. That however, has now changed. Yes, I've left my teenage years behind and though I'd gotten through then without getting acne, only to get adult acne at the age of twenty three. It sucks. Well and truly sucks. It's not even just the odd break out. It's constant and it is all around my chin and a bit above my left eyebrow. I have noticed it is mainly on the left side of my face that keeps breaking out and I am not quite sure why. It's annoying and I honestly hate it, it really gets me down.

I was then contacted by a brand asking if I wanted to try their SPF. Which I agreed to do so and as we got chatty I mentioned that my skin lately had been terrible. I explained all about my spots and they very kindly sent me some stuff to help sort it out. I didn't have to review it, or even mention that I'd been sent it, but honestly, I can see a difference in my skin already that I thought it deserved a mention.

AC-Norm Total Control Cream | £14.99
This can be used on any form of acne, whether that be mild, moderate or severe. It contains ingredients that fight off bacteria, regulates oil production and helps with the reduction of inflammation. It is also used to help reduce the appearance of scars, cysts and helps to smooth out the appearance of the skin. The product in side is a light green shade, which surprised me as I thought it would be white and it has a very subtle scent. It can be used as long as required. I've been using it for quite some time now and can really tell a difference, my spots have not completely gone, but they certainly are getting better. You can use this product for up to three times a day too which I think is great.

AC-Norm Active Foam Plus | £12.50
Personally, I use this as my first cleanse, as it cleanses my skin without any irritation. The product is meant to effectively remove excess oils and also removes any makeup. I have noticed that when using this, my skin feels really hydrated which is good. It helps to fight against germs/bacteria on the skin which helps to reduce the acne and again, the inflammation of the spots. I only use this in an evening but it can be used both AM and PM. I apply it to wet skin and remove with a muslin cloth.

  1. It's fab to find products that work. I found that my night cream was way too rich and was causing spots - since I switched to a gel moisturiser, my spots have gone! Skin skin skin eh!

  2. I am blessed with good skin and always strive to keep it that way but there are times I express an odd spot and its always in the middle of my forehead or side of my nose. Its so frustrating when it happens so I can understand your pain. The products seem lovely and hope they clear it all up and you get your good skin back

  3. That's such a shame that your skin has got bad now, I find doing regular face masks pulls out the impurities in my skin and makes them feel and look better x

  8. These sound amazing products for problem skin. I was the same and developed adult acne in my late twenties, it's so awful as you think you've passed acne once you leave school don't you.

  9. Sorry to hear you suffer with adult acne. While I don't suffer continuously I have the very occasional breakout. These products look great.
