A Reflection On The Last Year... Goodbye 2017.

A Reflection On The Last Year... Goodbye 2017.
Another year is nearly over and I cannot believe soon enough it will be 2018. 2017 has been quite a good year in fact, I didn't realise how much I'd actually done until I looked back through my photos and remembered some of the amazing things I was able to do this year.

A Reflection On The Last Year... Goodbye 2017.

2017 has been such an exciting year, I got to tick many things off my bucket list. In January I signed up to do Race for Life which I completed in May. It was such an amazing day, I did it with my Sister Shannon & two of my friends Maureen & Claire (Hi Maureen - You've made it again). We had such a laugh and managed to raise some money for a good cause. In January I also booked onto do a Skydive. It's something I've always wanted to do. I managed to complete it in August after several failed attempts due to the weather, however, it was honestly the best day of my life. I then went on Holiday in March to Tenerife. That was such a spontaneous holiday, I literally booked it like 12 days before but it was nice to get away for a week and relax. Probably the biggest thing that happened to me though, was I got a new job. Well in fact I got two, a casual one at Children's services, however, I was only there around a month before I got offered a permanent post back over on the adult side of things. I loved my time at Children's, however, I love my new job, too much. Then finally, back in September, I met Emma. Surely if you read my blog etc by now, you'll know who Emma is. She's my blogging bestie and back in September we met for the first time in Blackpool, we shopped til I dropped... literally and I can't wait to see her again in 2018.

Obviously me getting new jobs, meant I had to leave my old one at Access behind. I worked with them for just over a year, thirteen months to be exact and I loved it from day one, until the last one. I met some of the most amazing people in my time there, some I still speak to all the time, Maureen & Jean especially and of course my Mama too. I will never forget my time at Access and all they taught me. I was lucky to be apart of such a fab team.

2017, saw lot's of nights out with the girls and sometimes the boys too. I had some of my best nights out in 2017 and that's thanks to the guys in the above photos. We've had plenty of unplanned nights out which have been just amazing and then some I'd rather just forget (boy drama) I cannot wait to see what nights out 2018 has in store for us.

2017 showed me just how amazing my friends are. Especially Laura & Lauren. I don't think I'd have gotten through 2017 without them. 2017 has been a special year for both of them too, Lauren gave birth to her beautiful baby girl Poppy in October and earlier this month Laura became an official home owner. I am so incredibly proud of them both & I cannot wait to create more memories in 2018 with them both & of course Poppy too.
