My Winter Skincare Must Haves.

My Winter Skincare Must Haves.
During the winter months, my skin goes a little crazy, meaning it needs that little bit more TLC. I have combination skin, which can have hormonal break outs (around my chin area). However, during the winter months, my skin always seems to be more drier than usual. Especially my cheeks and forehead. I'm not quite sure why it does this, I usually put it down to the cold weather and going from the warmth inside to the freezing temperatures outside. So I thought I'd share with you so products I just cannot live without.

Now even though this is called a day cleanser, I often use this at night too unless I've worn makeup that day, as then I use something different. I take a generous amount on the hand and mix it with water.  It instantly adds hydration to the skin and I find it helps me appear more awake.

I've not been using this too long, however this has very quickly become a staple in my collection. It comes in two types and as my skin is dry at the moment, I opted for the normal to dry. I use this in the morning. It adds so much hydration to the skin and I can instantly see a difference to my skin. It's so lightweight too which makes it perfect for use under foundation.

This is my holy grail moisturiser for winter. My skin loves the stuff. I used to use this before I did my makeup however now I prefer the L'Oreal one before I apply my makeup but I apply this at night time to ensure I wake up in the morning with my skin looking really fresh.

Surely I'm not the only person to struggle waking up in the mornings, meaning I forever have tired looking eyes in the winter. I apply a tiny amount to my under eye and I swear by it. A little goes a long way and it helps make my eyes appear much brighter.

  2. I still need to try the bio essence brand! I love the Hydra Genius, I have both of the types they do and prefer to dry skin version.
