Top Six Christmas Films.

Top Six Christmas Films.
Is there anything quite better than lighting all the candles in your room, getting your comfy clothes on, getting wrapped up in your blanket and feeling super cosy whilst watching a Christmas film? Nope. Didn't think so.

Over the years, I've watched many Christmas films, some which were absolutely amazing and some that I switched off after half an hour.  However, this year I decided it was time I tried to watch even more, so since the beginning of November (I think I started on Bonfire night) I've been binge watching Christmas films just so I can give you my top six Christmas films. Can you believe up until the 5th November, I'd never watched ELF before?! I know. What even am I. However, now I have and you'll have to find out below if it's on my list...

My absolute favourite film, not just at Christmas but all year round has to be Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. Every single time I watch it, I end up in hysterics. It's hilarious. I love all the Home Alone films, but number two is 1000000% my absolute favourite. My favourite scene has to be that one in the gif above too. If you've not watched this film, where on earth have you been?!

Ah, The Grinch, a film I have watched a million times over but one I absolutely adore. I just love how even though they portray him as the bad guy for most of the film, right at the end he becomes good. It's such a cute film, with such a good story behind it. I won't lie, it's even made me cry before.

Now, I am now quite sure how I made it to 2017 without watching this film. I was obviously stuck under a rock somewhere! It's fabulous! I just love how much Christmas spirit Buddy has. I absolutely love Christmas, it's my favourite time of the year and if I could... I'd be just like Buddy!

Now this is a little bit of a silly one, but I loved it! Again this isn't one I watched until this year but I thought it was really good. I used to love doing my school nativity and I just wish they were as amazing as this one!

Another classic for me! I just love how much effort Jamie's Dad goes to, to make sure he gets his Christmas present! I absolutely love Arnold Schwarzenegger films. I find them hilarious. My favourite part of this film though has to be when Jamie sees that his Dad is Turbo Man, it's such a cute little moment.

Not a traditional Christmas film, however, it's one that has me in stitches! I love it, I just find it so ironic. Your meant to be good all year so Santa comes and gives you presents, yet Santa is bad himself. If you have a good sense of humour, I'd 100% recommend this one... just not one to watch in front of the kids!

Please let me know your favourite Christmas films in the comments below and also make sure you check out Emmas favourite Christmas films too!

  4. I love a good film but Christmas films have that bit of something extra about them that I adore! Is it sad that I know the words to the songs in that Nativity film, one of my favourites that!
