Milani Perfect & Conceal... But Does It Work?

Milani Perfect & Conceal... But Does It Work?
I've not tried much from Milani and honestly, it's only been in the last few months I've tried their products. One product in particular I have always wanted to try was their Conceal & Perfect 2 in 1 foundation and concealer | £13 it's been raved about for what seems like forever now and luckily my Dad got me a bottle for Christmas

I had absolutely no idea what shade to pick, that's the only issue with getting makeup online, you don't get to physically see and test the product. However, I opted for the shade 'creamy vanilla' and it's a pretty good match, I mean it is slightly too dark at the moment, but the closer we get to spring/summer the better it'll be. I've read other reviews stating that their foundations tend to be on the darker side, but I am not working too much as I know come Summer it'll be a great match. I've worn it already a few times and I've been able to make it work, so I am not complaining. I have found it to be very yellow toned foundation too.

The foundation is described as medium to full coverage and I certainly agree. It can definitely be built up to a high coverage foundation. One thing, I will admit though, I still conceal my skin with my own concealer, but that's only because I like to use a light concealer on my under eyes to brighten and highlight my under eyes.

I have combination skin, although during the colder months, my skin has been a little more of the drier side, especially on my cheeks and forehead. I find that this works well, even with my dry skin. It doesn't stick to any dry patches and lasts for hours after first applying.

When pumping out the product, the product is quite thin in consistency and doesn't at all feel heavy once applied to the skin. I find that 3 pumps is enough to cover the face and neck. I apply with a buffer brush and then dab with a damp beauty blender and find my skin looks flawless after applying. Apparently, it's also water resistant, now I can't really vouch for this, but will let you know once I've tested that.

Let me know in the comments below, your favourite Milani product, I'd love to try more.

  5. Sounds like a super product! Three pumps doesn't sound like a lot of product, but if it's enough to cover the face the bottle should last a good while, yes?

  6. I use a concealer under my eyes too - helps with the lack-of-sleep bags!
