Huda Beauty Warm Obsession Palette Review.

Huda Beauty Warm Obsession Palette Review.
My name is Dena Jayne and I have a real obsession with eyeshadow palettes. I am not joking either, I have around 50 in my collection! They are all different though, I promise. I am actually hoping my Mum isn't reading this blog post, she will seriously consider sending me to eyeshadow palette rehab or something. I am slightly addicted. Everybody has a weakness and mine happens to be eyeshadow palettes. What's yours?

Huda Beauty is a brand I've not really tried too much of to be honest, I mean I've seen how amazing there palettes etc, look all over Instagram etc, but I try not to spend too much on makeup at present. As I've already said, I have a tonne of palettes in my collection and some of them aren't used (again, sorry Mum!) but when I saw the Warm Obsession palette | £25, I couldn't resist. I am a sucker for a warm palette, they are my go to shades for sure and this one was no different. I needed it.

Huda Beauty Warm Obsession Palette Review.
When the palette arrived, I was quite shocked at the size of the palette, it's tiny. I was aware it was small in size, but I expected it to be bigger than it was, although it would make a great palette to travel with. The packaging is great, it's very sturdy and it's a lot better than it looks, inside is a decent size mirror and there is a magnetic closing which is handy.

Inside the palette, there are nine different 'warm toned' shades. Eight out of the nine shades are matte and there is one shimmer. I prefer this as I am a sucker for a matte eye look and the shimmer shade included is just beautiful too. All nine shades are lovely, they all apply well and blend like a dream. The shadows are not as pigmented as I hoped but regardless, they still have quite a lot of pigmentation.

Overall, I personally think this palette is worth the £25 price tag. If you work it out, it works out at £2.78 per eyeshadow which is great. The pigmentation could be better, but it's still a fabulous palette regardless. You can easily build up the shades.

Have you tried any of the Huda Beauty Obsession palettes? What do you think about them?

  1. I'm surprised that the pigmentation could be better, I've always heard Huda was super pigmented. I've not had the chance to try it yet myself. The shades look really pretty though and definitely has a range of shades that I'd enjoy.

  3. I have this palette and I absolutely love it other than the fact that the shimmer shade has awesome fall out. Does it do the same for you? x

  4. £25 is quite steep for a small palette but you're right, those colours are gorgeous! x

  5. Oh that looks pretty but yes, £25 does seem a little expensive for me! I think sometimes things are worth investing in if you use them often!

  9. I’ve been lusting after this palette ever since I saw it or your Insta feed. It’s so pretty, and unlike all the other palettes I have in my collection. I may have to treat myself to it soon :)
