Five Things From July.

What a month July has been. I worked an awful lot and I mean it when I said an awful lot. One week I worked over 70 hours. Safe to say I was tired that week but July has also been a fun month. I've had a good month and I have tonnes of new memories. August will be an amazing month I'm sure. Did I mention I go to Zante this month?! Eee. I am hoping to still stick to my blog schedule whilst in Zante. Watch this space!
At the start of the month, I got a shiny new award from Slimming World. I finally got my stone and half award. I have to admit, ever since then, my Slimming World journey has been at a stand still. I've been so on and off plan. I've put on 3lbs in July. Not overly bad, I know but I want to make sure I get that and a little bit more off before I go to Zante.
There has been quite a few birthdays in July. I got to celebrate with Ruby her 5th birthday, I got her a tonne of little presents, got my Mama to make her some cupcakes and then I took her to McDonald's for her tea. What a treat. My baby Sister also turned 18 this month. She spent the whole week celebrating and it's nice to know I can finally take my baby Sister out for a legal drink.
I've been out quite a few times in July. I went on a work night out to Bingley, we danced all night and was nice to catch up with some of the work gang I hadn't seen for a while. I went out round my local area one night with Laura & Victoria before ending up in Halifax... if you know, you know and boy was I hungover! I then went for drinks with a lad I've been speaking to and also went round to my mate Vicky's the other night and didn't get home until 4am. Safe to say I was hungover that Saturday too! Maybe I need to lay off the booze in August...
Finally in July I finally got to do Pretty Muddy. Myself and seven other ladies were apart of my group and we got so muddy and had such a laugh it was fab. We managed to raise over £1,000 for Cancer Research which was also really good too!
Finally, I went to both the cinemas and the Alhambra this month. I took the day off work and went to watch Mamma Mia 2 in the cinema with my ex's Nan. It was such a good film and it was really good to catch up with her. We went to costa after for a catch up too. I then went to see Titanic The Musical at the Alhambra with my Mum & Sisters. It wasn't at all what I was expecting. There was no Jack and no Rose but it was a good show regardless.

What have you been up to this month?!

  1. It looks and sounds like so much fun. Not the 70 hours work part but the other things you did! I love how muddy you all got. lol.

  2. I've forgotten what a 70 hour work week feels like (well, aside from the work of parenting!) but I remember it wasn't great. So I feel for you. Hope you have an amazing holiday.

  3. Such a busy month! PRetty muddy look so much fun and congrats on raising such a fantastic amount for a worthy cause!
