How I Clean My Makeup Brushes.

When it comes to cleaning my makeup brushes I am the worst person in the world. I find it so boring and such a chore. I hate it. I honestly wish you could just throw them in the washing machine or click my fingers and they'd be clean. Honestly, I am so lazy and I don't wash my brushes anywhere near as much as often as your supposed to. I used to hand wash them all, until I bought this fabulous gadget off Amazon and it makes washing my brushes much easier.

Makeup Brush Cleaner & Dryer | £18.99

It's really easy to clean your brushes using this piece of equipment. All you need to do is find the correct sized attachment for your chosen brush and attach it to the brush. Add water and soap to the bowl, I use baby shampoo. I then dip my brush into the water and turn the machine on. It starts to spin the brush in the water and I leave it in there for around 20 seconds. I then take the brush out and use the spin option again to dry my brush and it's dry within seconds. I find this method works amazing for smaller brushes, it takes a little longer for bigger brushes but they come out really clean.

  1. This looks like such a great technique! I honestly tend to use a baby shampoo rather than a specific clenser but I've been really inspired to try this out now. Lovely post x

  10. I’ve heard how great these contraptions are, just be careful they don’t weaken your brushes
